The week in type<\/p>\n

Hope you enjoy this week\u2019s week in type<\/em>. To kick things off, lets all give a warm hand to the makers and bakers of the fonts that made it into MOMA\u2019s permanent collection<\/a>. Particularly happy yo see Barry Deck\u2019s Template Gothic<\/a> in there \u2014 one of my all-time favorite quirky display types.<\/p>\n

Be sure to read Jonathan Hoefler\u2019s thoughts over at the exceptional Kottke<\/a>. H&FJ see four of their types added to the collection: HTF Didot, Gotham, Mercury and Retina.<\/p>\n
